# Frequently asked questions

> What people ask us most about minai.

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Do I need to know how to code?">
    No. Everything is done by talking to your agents; the app is there to look and adjust whatever you want.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need an AI subscription?">
    You need an AI for your agents to think with. The cheapest option is your **Claude** (Pro or Max) or **ChatGPT** (Plus or Pro) subscription: minai doesn't charge you for the AI. You can also use your own API key (OpenAI or OpenRouter), and during the trial, minai's AI. See [Your AI and the models](/en/concepts/your-ai-and-models).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How much does it cost?">
    You get a 14-day free trial, no card needed. After that, a monthly or yearly plan. See [Plans](/en/reference/plans).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How many agents can I have?">
    It depends on your plan. Paused ones count too. Plugins, channels and people in your groups have no limit.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I talk to an agent on WhatsApp from my number?">
    Yes: you write to it from your usual WhatsApp, in a group with the agent. What can't happen is your number being the agent's: the agent uses a minai line or another number of yours. See [WhatsApp](/en/reference/channels/whatsapp).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can my agent read my WhatsApp?">
    Yes, with the [WhatsApp plugin](/en/plugins/whatsapp): it searches your chats, sums them up and downloads files for you. It only sends a message if you approve it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can an agent be on two channels at once?">
    No: each agent has one channel. But all your chats, from any channel, can be read in minai's **Chats** tab.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can several people talk to the same agent?">
    Yes, with a **For a group** agent, on Telegram, WhatsApp or Slack. See [Group agents](/en/reference/channels/groups).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do my agents talk to each other?">
    No. Each agent works on its own. What they do share is the space: a program one of them installs can be used by the others.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can it buy, pay or send things for me?">
    Only with your OK, every time. And for the money and email plugins, you also have to turn on a permission that comes turned off. See [Permissions](/en/tools/permissions).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can it make images or talk to me with a voice?">
    No. Your agents understand images and voice messages, and they send you screenshots, charts and files, but they don't generate images with AI or answer with a voice.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I start over with an agent?">
    There's no button to delete the conversation. If you want it to forget something, tell it and it takes it out of its memory. To truly start from scratch, the simplest thing is to create another agent (and delete the old one if you don't need it).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I keep personal and work apart?">
    Yes, with [instances](/en/setup/instances): each one has its own agents, channels and plan.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens to my data if I stop paying?">
    Your agents are stopped and you have 5 days to choose a plan. After that they're deleted, along with their data. We let you know beforehand.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is it for businesses?">
    Yes. For team plans or to resell minai, write to us at [support@min-ai.ar](mailto:support@min-ai.ar).
