# Troubleshooting

> What to do when an agent doesn't answer, a channel stops working or something won't connect.

## My agent doesn't answer

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="It says it's paused">
    You paused it. Go to its page and tap **Resume**.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="It says “No usage left” or that your subscription reached its limit">
    Your Claude or ChatGPT subscription's quota ran out. The message says when it renews. In the meantime, you can move the agent to another connected AI (in **Model**), or wait. Check your quotas in **Settings → Plan and usage → Your subscription**.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="It says your agents are stopped">
    Your plan is stopped: the trial ended, a payment couldn't be charged or you went over a limit. Go to **Settings → Plan and usage**: the reason and what to do are at the top. See [Plan and billing](/en/setup/plan-and-billing#when-your-agents-are-stopped).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="It's been “working…” for a long time">
    It may be on a long task. If you want to cut it short, tap the stop button in the chat (or send `/stop`). If it seems stuck, tap **Restart** on its page: it cuts short what it's doing and starts again, without deleting anything.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Nothing happens and there's no message">
    Check its **Activity** tab: there you can see whether it got your message and whether it ended with an error. If the AI it uses was disconnected, connect it again in **Settings → Models**. If none of this helps, try **Restart**.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## A channel stopped working

You'll see a red warning on the agent's card, and in **Notices** we tell you what happened. Go to its page → **Where it talks**.

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Telegram: “The bot stopped answering”">
    This usually happens if the bot's token changed. Tap **Reconnect**: minai asks for it again. If you deleted the bot in Telegram, change channels to create another one.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="WhatsApp, your own line: “No line”">
    The phone with that line unlinked minai. Tap **Link the line again** and scan the QR code from that phone (WhatsApp → Linked devices). It's the line for all your WhatsApp agents: once you link it, they all come back.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="WhatsApp, minai line: “The line has problems”">
    You don't have to do anything: we're reconnecting it and your agent will answer again as soon as it's back.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Slack">
    If someone uninstalled minai from the workspace, it's cut off for all your agents in that workspace and they show **No channel**. On each one's card, tap **Connect** and add it to Slack again (if your workspace doesn't let you, ask an admin).
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## A plugin won't connect

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="The link to enter a key says “This link no longer works”">
    Links work once and expire in an hour. Ask your agent for a new one.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The plugin says “Needs setting up”">
    It's missing a value or a key. Open its card in the agent's **Plugins** tab to see what's missing, and write to the agent: it'll ask you for it again.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Google: “Google hasn't verified this app”">
    That's expected: the app is yours. Tap **Advanced → Go to min-ai.ar (unsafe)** and, if there's a permission checkbox, check it. See [Your Google app](/en/tools/your-google-app).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Google: the connection drops after a few days">
    If it's a Gmail account, your Google app has to be **published** (“In production”). Check that step in Google Cloud and connect again from the plugin's card (**Change**).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Email: it won't connect with Outlook or Hotmail">
    Microsoft mailboxes (Outlook, Hotmail, Microsoft 365) don't work with the Email plugin yet.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The agent can't send an email or make a transfer">
    Check the plugin's **permission** on its card (for example, **Allow sending email**): it comes turned off. For Google and Atlassian, make sure it's connected with **Read and act**. See [Permissions](/en/tools/permissions).
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## I don't get notifications

* On iPhone, first **install minai** on your home screen: without installing it, there are no notifications.
* Check **Settings → Notifications → On this device**. If it says “Blocked in the browser”, allow them in your browser's or phone's settings.
* While you have an agent's chat open (on any device), its messages don't notify you.

See [Install the app and notifications](/en/setup/install-the-app).

## Other

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="I can't create another agent">
    You've reached your plan's limit. Paused agents count too: delete one or move to a bigger plan.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="My agent doesn't understand voice messages">
    You may have used up your plan's audio minutes for the month. Check **Settings → Plan and usage → Transcribed audio**. Until next month starts, type to it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The sign-in email doesn't arrive">
