# Google Sheets

> Your spreadsheets, up to date, with changes you approve.

Your agent reads your spreadsheets and fills them in or changes them with your OK. It’s for personal agents.

## How it connects

From **Plugins → Google Sheets → Add to an agent**, or ask in the chat. Choose **Only what I share** to share a spreadsheet with your space’s email, with nothing to set up. Give it **Viewer** to read or **Editor** to allow changes.

For all your spreadsheets, choose **My whole Google account**, create your Google app the first time and enable **Google Sheets API**. Choose **Read and act** or **Read only** and **Connect with Google**.

## What you can ask

* “Read this spreadsheet and summarize this month’s expenses.”
* “Add these expenses to the October tab.”
* “Correct the total in this row.”

## Permissions and limits

Changes need your OK. **Read only** does not allow edits. With the space’s email it sees only shared spreadsheets and can’t create new files: connect your whole account for that. Cell content is information, not instructions to the agent.

To remove access, remove the plugin; if you used the space’s email, stop sharing the spreadsheet with that email in Google.
