With ARCA (Argentina’s tax agency), your agent signs in with your clave fiscal (your ARCA tax password) and tells you what you invoiced, what others invoiced you and how much you’ve billed so far this year. If you turn on the permission, it also issues a type C invoice (Factura C) through Comprobantes en Línea, always with your OK, and sends you the PDF.

What it can do

Look up

What you issued and what was issued to you, through every channel (Mis Comprobantes): up to a year per query, the last 30 days by default. What was generated in Comprobantes en Línea, even today’s, and its official PDF.

Invoice, with your OK

Issue a Factura C (for monotributo taxpayers) through Comprobantes en Línea. It’s real and can’t be undone: it needs the permission on.

Add it to an agent

From Plugins → ARCA → Add to an agent, or ask your agent in the chat. See Add a plugin.

Enter your CUIT and your clave fiscal

Your agent sends you a one-time link for each: your CUIT (the 11 digits, with or without dashes) and your clave fiscal (the one you use to sign in to arca.gob.ar). They’re kept encrypted. See Keys and values.

It checks that it can sign in and tells you in the chat that it’s ready.

The permission

On the ARCA card, in the agent’s Plugins tab, there’s the Allow issuing comprobantes switch: “Issue invoices in ARCA, always with your OK. Off, it only looks at what was issued and received.” It starts off and only you change it. While it’s off, your agent won’t even prepare an invoice. minai’s servers enforce the limit: your agent can’t get around it. See Permissions.
An issued invoice is real: it stays in ARCA with its CAE (authorization code) and can’t be voided. If there’s a mistake, it’s offset with a credit note. There’s no test mode.

How it looks out for you

  • You decide everything: whether it’s goods or services, who it’s for (and their VAT status), the amounts and the description. For services, also the period and the due date.
  • Before issuing, a preview. Your agent goes through ARCA up to the summary without generating anything and shows you what ARCA understood (issuer, recipient, items, total) with the Issue and Change buttons. It only issues with your yes, and that OK is for that exact invoice.
  • Afterward it gives you the number and the CAE, and it can send you the PDF.
  • If something fails without a clear answer, it doesn’t retry: first it checks whether the invoice went through.
  • If the clave fiscal is wrong, it doesn’t keep trying (so ARCA doesn’t lock it): it asks you to enter it again.
  • Your agent never sees your clave fiscal: minai’s servers add it on each request.

Things to ask it

  • “What invoices did I issue this month?”
  • “What invoices were issued to me in September?”
  • “Make a Factura C to Juan Pérez, final consumer, for $150,000 for October’s design services.”
  • “Send me the PDF of the last invoice I issued.”
  • “How much did I invoice in the last 12 months?”

Limits

  • For now it only issues Factura C, and only through Comprobantes en Línea.
  • Mis Comprobantes goes up to yesterday: today’s it sees in what was generated through Comprobantes en Línea.
  • ARCA’s site sometimes goes down or changes; if that happens, your agent lets you know.
  • If ARCA locks your clave fiscal, you unlock it from ARCA’s site.
  • It’s only for a personal agent.

If you remove it

Your agent loses access in less than a minute and confirms it. Your CUIT and clave fiscal are deleted with the plugin; if you add it again, it asks for them again. See Remove a plugin.
