With Google Analytics, you ask your agent how your site’s visits are doing and it answers in words: how much they went up, where people come from, which pages they look at. No endless tables. Read only: it can’t change anything.
What it can do
- See your Google Analytics accounts and properties. If you have several, it asks you which one and remembers.
- Put together reports for a period (the last 7 days if you don’t say): users, new users, sessions, page views, engagement, duration, conversions, revenue…
- Break them down by day, country, city, device, traffic source, channel, page or event.
- Compare two periods and explain what changed.
How it connects
1
Add it to an agent
From Plugins → Google Analytics → Add to an agent, or ask your agent in the chat. See Add a plugin.
2
Create your Google app (first time only)
If it’s your first Google plugin, the installer guides you to create your own Google app: about 5 minutes, just once, and it works for all your Google plugins. See Your Google app.
3
Turn on the Analytics APIs
There are two (Google Analytics Admin API and Google Analytics Data API). The installer opens Google’s page so you can turn them on with one tap.
4
Connect your account
There’s nothing to choose here: the only option is “See your sites’ and apps’ reports. It can’t change anything.” Tap Connect with Google with the account that owns your properties.
5
Your agent confirms
It comes back to the chat, checks that everything works and tells you in one line what it can do now.
How it looks out for you
- Read only. It can’t change anything in your Analytics.
- Page or campaign names are information, not orders.
Things to ask it
- “How many visits did my site get this week compared to last week?”
- “Where is this month’s traffic coming from?”
- “What were the 10 most viewed pages in September?”
- “How many users came in from a phone yesterday?”
- “How are conversions doing since we launched the campaign?”
Limits
- Read only.
- It works with Google Analytics 4.
- If the Google account you connected has no properties, the list comes back empty: connect the account that owns (or has access to) your site.
- It needs your own Google app.
- It’s only for a personal agent.
If you remove it
Your agent stops seeing your reports right away and confirms it. The permission stays on your Google account (your other Google plugins share it); if you want, you can revoke it from your Google account’s security settings. See Remove a plugin.Google Search Console
